Advice For young Girls

I recently made a video, where I shared a message; advice for young girls that the Lord laid on my heart to share. One word of advice that I’m trying to put into practice is that when a thought comes to mind to do something, just do it. Don’t delay because you will find that you will forget and time will pass by.

Be diligent

This is a word that has oftentime come to mind because without it, it has caused many problems. Be diligent to clean your surroundings. Be diligent to organise your life. Be diligent to study the word of God and pray. Be diligent in all things. I have found that when I see something that I need to clear up or sort out, an immediate feeling is to avoid it, in that moment I say be diligent in my mind and I get it done! Put the devil to shame and in turn build up good habits.

See Life as a Training Ground

You will face so many trials and temptations in your life. Trusting in God is paramount to getting through them. The trials that God allows in your life is all for a purpose – it’s to train you to be stronger in your faith! We cannot do anything without God, so remember to pray always so that you can be wise and know how to tackle the obstacles set before you. Be thankful for everything even the times that bring you sorrow because it’s all God’s will. As long as you obey God’s commandments and consecrate your life to Him, you can be certain that God has your back.

Listen to your parents

Especially if they are in the lord. If you are a young girl who still lives under her parents roof, then it would be wise to listen to their instructions, particularly their rules. Of course you are your own person so if you have an objection to anything, then you must respectfully state that but if the rule still stands then comply and obey. The bible says honour thy father and thy mother, so that your days may be long. This is the only commandment that has a promise so we must not take it lightly.

Be careful who you surround yourself with

Especially in these last days, there will be many people who under false pretences will want to befriend you in order to use you and persecute you. Any friend who is leading you astray or makes you feel bad as a person should not be considered a friend. At school, college, university it is difficult to stand alone, but you must if that is what it must take! Do not dress immodestly, do not go to places you know you shouldn’t go to. There are consequences to everything, and you are training your character and personality by whatever you choose to watch, touch, eat and wherever you choose to go. So please be careful.

Dressing well is important

I have written a number of posts which talk on this because I believe that beauty has its place in this world, whether that be through nature, architecture, clothing and more. Today beauty is waning and it’s all part of the devil’s plan, let us not be deceived. How you dress reflects the kind of person you are, it’s unavoidable – so dress decently! Although what is most important is having a loving heart, but our appearance has its importance too.
