Admitting my Faults & Errors
I asked the Lord to help me with a post this week and this morning he led me to think about exactly what I needed to write about. An apology and admittance to my errors and shortcomings. 2025 was a year of spiritual growth for me. I found myself filled with so many questions as multiple weird and calamitous events surrounded the news and around me. I sought the Lord through prayer and fasting to seek understanding of the times and where we are at. I believe that for a number of years the world has changed in a way that in quite inexplicable – as if demons have been let loose from their prison into this world for a season. I felt and still feel in my heart that Christ’s return is now imminent. But towards the end of 2025, as I was becoming more enlightened by God’s word, the devil sought to deceive me with devil’s doctrine, and although he succeeded but for a moment, the Lord delivered me and I realised my faults.
That’s the wonderful and blessed hope about being a born again Christian. We are still human, we always fall short of the glory of God. It is a race that we are still running. But best believe that if you are his chosen, no matter how many obstacles you face, Jesus Christ is there ready to pick up and push you on. Follow him and you will see for yourself.
My Demeanour
With the world becoming more evil as the days go, I have found myself becoming more impatient and harsh with my words. The Lord says be ye angry and sin not. Oftentimes I have failed in this regard. In this period, I am learning to be more humble but most importantly to be slow to speak. It’s not easy but I know the Lord will help me because it is his will for me, and for you too. To those I have offended in the past, I have already sought their forgiveness but I pray moving forward that my demeanour to everyone would always be loving.
The 144,000
Some of you may remember me posting about the 144,000 (Revelation 7) and sharing a timeline of events relating to Christ’s millennial reign to his final coming. I posted that there would be only 144,000 left on this world alive that will be marked with the seal of God (Revelation 7) and protected from God’s wrath before the Lord Jesus returns. Speaking with many on this, I was told that it is symbolic for either the entire church or for a number that is not disclosed. I accept that I may be wrong and so I took that the post down so as not to cause further division. My view now is that whether literal or symbolic, there is a remnant of God’s children on earth, but compared to the world population it will be very minute. If you are not yet saved, or are still dealing with hidden sins, seek forgiveness from the Lord today so that you will not be left behind. Otherwise Jesus’ return will come on you like a thief in the night as he himself warned.
Do I know When the Lord Jesus Will Come?
In that same post, I put out a timeline expressing my view that Jesus’ return or the end of this age will be 2029. This wasn’t an arbitrary year, but one I felt led to from studying the Bible and observing the season that we are in. But although I did not give the ‘day’ or ‘hour’ of Christ’s return, I understand how this could cause contention amongst believers because I had put a timeline, so therefore I took the post down. I have asked the Lord for forgiveness, because I know I could be wrong even on the year and I don’t wish to sin against God’s word. Please forgive me for this.
I do not know when the Lord Jesus will come again, however as a daughter of God I truly believe that he is coming very soon – and I am trying to be patient, but I am so looking forward to it, because the world is unbearably evil! Many times in the bible, Jesus and his disciples told us that although we won’t know exactly when he is coming, his followers will not be caught unawares. We will discern the times and sense that his return is close. Yes, people 200 years ago felt his return was soon, but imagine what they would think now! So definitely with the things happening around us lately, we can certainly say that his return is imminent! I’ve added scripture below for your comfort to know that if you are child of God you will not be surprised when he returns. Pray that the Lord will open your eyes to discern the times. And as always if you are not yet a believer, ask the Lord today to give you faith where you have none, for him to reveal himself to you so that you may believe, be forgiven and have eternal life.
